A Reef & Reel guide in a branded T-shirt reeling in a fish off the Saint Lucia coast, with a green hill and blue sea ahead

Come fish.Have fun.Make memories.

Private inshore fishing and Catch & Cook trips from Rodney Bay Marina, with a Saint Lucian guide who grew up fishing this coast.

Five stars on Google From US$200 Rodney Bay Marina

More than a boat trip. A few hours on the water the way Saint Lucians have always fished.

We fish the reefs, ledges and bays close to shore, where the water is calmer and the coastline views never stop. You’ll learn how we fish, hear the stories behind it, and see how the sea connects to our food and our culture.

Never held a rod? We’ll show you how to bait up, feel the bite and bring your fish in.

Our story

Meet Fabian & Aggie

Fabian grew up in Saint Lucia. Some of his earliest memories are of fishing from the rocks and around the mangroves, learning the coastline and chasing the thrill of never knowing what might be on the end of the line.

Life then took him to the UK, where he lived for many years. Along the way he met Aggie, now his wife, and together they decided to make Saint Lucia home.

Coming back, Fabian wanted to reconnect with the sea he grew up on and share it with visitors. Together, he and Aggie started Reef & Reel: small, personal fishing trips with a local who knows these waters, the stories behind them, and the link between the sea, the food and the culture of the island.

“Many visitors want more than the usual tourist trip. They want to meet local people, find something genuine and leave with a story to remember. Whether we catch plenty of fish or simply enjoy a beautiful few hours on the water, I want every guest to take home a little piece of the Saint Lucia I grew up with.”

What our guests say

Five-star reviews from guests who’ve fished with us, straight from Google.

Great time fishing for red snapper. The captain well experienced and the owner on board Fabian very polite, hospitable, jovial with great personality. The package of catching and having your catch prepared by the local chef at Seagull was very good.

Never tried sea fishing before but what a day! Fabian and his captain were fantastic! I was suffering from motion sickness but they took us back into calmer waters where we managed to catch some fish.

An amazing day. The captain knew where to head for fish. We caught some lovely fish inc grouper and squirrel fish. This was cooked to perfection by The Seagull beach. What a beautiful day! Totally recommended.

I had one of the most amazing experiences you could ever imagine. You get to charter a boat, and cook what you catch. Fabian is truly one of the most incredible guys I've come across in a long time.
